Then head to the Pioneer Woman’s Web site and download her fun photo enhancements for free. With just a click of a button, you can apply all kinds of effects to your photos like the ones above—the top picture is straight out of my camera, the second one is called “Sunshine,” and the one on the bottom is called “70s.” How fun is that? Just go to the Pioneer Woman’s Web site for the downloads and tutorials.
The idea behind this fun Web site is that you can waste entirely too much time daydreaming. 🙂 You can go to the categories that interest you, like Home Design, Recipes, Travel, etc and “pin” items from other users that you like, then you can organize them all in one place on your “board.” You can find fun stuff like this:

Floating lantern festival in Thailand. Isn’t it gorgeous?! I just joined Pinterest, and I can already tell it’s gonna be dangerous.
3. Origins Silk Screen Refining Powder Makeup. Origins is a mostly natural, plant-based skincare and makeup line that I’m a big fan of. I am just in love with this powder—hands down the best powder I’ve ever used. It’s great at evening everything out and just giving your skin a smooth glow. The brush is pretty great too—it gives a really even application of powder. And I’m also pretty much sold on buying this product from Origins, because I’m not getting any younger over here!
4. My new Sanuks. These are flip-flops made from—wait for it—yoga mat! They are so comfy and squishy and supposedly last forever. When you walk around in flip-flops as much as I do, they have to be comfortable! They’re cute too. I got mine at Val Surf here in Pasadena, but they sell them lots of places—check out the Web site.
5. Random treasures from the depths of my closet. When I was *still* unpacking today I came across this purse I got on a cruise to the Dominican Republic in third grade. I’m sold—it’ll be totally cute with a casual dress at a beach party this weekend, and I didn’t even have to spend any money. Plus, I’ll just tell everyone it’s “vintage” and I “thrifted” it (no one needs to know that means it made a triumphant return from the back of my closet).
